OUR MINISTRIES
We are a Christian organization providing service and friendship to all international students. We offer
1. free English conversation classes,
2. bible discussions,
3. Canadian culture experiences,
4. pick up and drop off of students at the airport and
5. help in finding accommodation.

Looking for things to do?.. for events? You’ve come to the right place!! This is JUST FOR STUDENTS! Here you’ll find the latest information on upcoming special events and all kinds of fun stuff -- things to challenge your mind, body and spirit. There are activity fees in some trips and events. Keep checking back, we’d hate for you to miss a thing!
English Conversation and bible Discussion
Want to get to know someone better? We use games like roleplays or tabletopics… these are fun, interesting games that can help you learn more about the person you are talking to. They are great for learning English, and good for when you are first meeting someone.
We also would like to introduce you to Jesus. We believe that following Jesus is the way to know God personally and we offer you bible discussions of how to do this and why this is a good decision for you to make. We don't push you to become Christians.
HOST School of English
This is a private school that helps students improve general English and prepares you for international exams, like IELTS and TOEFL. Check website for information of the language school and registration.
A free English class is held on Mondays at 2:00 pm. The class meets at 236 Finch Ave. East, in the basement. Internationals wanting to improve their English speaking skills are welcome. Registration fee is $10.00 for 8 weeks. Internationals from all religions and nations are welcome to attend!
Golden and Friendly Tutors - FREE
Our 'golden tutors' are older Canadians who love to spend time once a week chatting with foreign students and new immigrants. Everyone, regardless of religion, race, or culture, is welcome to participate in our activities. There is no charge. Conversational and friendly English tutors are volunteers. Refreshments offered.
Campus Ministries
Informal times of fellowship with students, bible discussions with help in English, and prayer for each others’ concerns.
International Church Worship Services
We will introduce you to churches in Toronto that welcome international students. Each Sunday, churches offer refreshments and small group discussion of the sermon with help in English. Please see our brochure for contact information, locations and time of worship services.
Weekly Bible Study Groups
Bible Study (in English) For men and women who want to better understand what the Bible teaches concerning what we are to believe about God and how we are to live in the 21st century. Enjoy interesting studies of the bible, special times to make friends, and get more help in English.
